When entering an ENERGYGUIDE Clothes Washer into EnergyGaugeUSA you will need information from two places. The first being the ENERGYGUIDE from which you will get the Capacity, kWh/yr, Dollars per kWh, Annual Gas Cost/yr and Dollar per therm all of which are circled in red on the Clothes Washer Appliance page and the ENERGYGUIDE below. The second location you will get information is California Energy Commission Database (click here for link) where you will enter your Model Number from the ENERGYGUIDE to find the database entry for your Washer. From this entry you will get the you will get the Integrated Modified Energy Factor which is circled in blue. The Modified Energy Factor can be used when the Integrated Modified Energy Factor is not listed on the page.

NOTE: both Estimated Yearly Electricity Use (when used with an electric water heater) and Estimated Yearly Operating Cost (when used with a natural gas water heater) are needed for input in EGUSA.
