When performing a Manual J calculation on a Multi-Family dwelling with neighbor walls, the reports currently indicated there is a load associated with these walls. This is not intended, as the temperature difference on each side of the wall should be assumed zero. When performing a Manual J calculation on a home with neighbor walls, if you view the 'Winter by Room/Zone' or the 'Summer by Room/Zone', this will provide a break down of the individual loads on each component of the dwelling. As can be noted below in yellow, these walls have a non-zero load:
